Permission Sets (OBS) in OPC

Use the Permission Sets and User Groups pages to define permission sets and groups and assign users to these permission sets and groups. Then, use the Users Profiles page to review information about the user.

To ensure security at various levels of data, Oracle Prime Projects provides separate sets of permissions:

Global permission sets determine a user's access to application-wide information. All users are assigned a global permission set when they log into the application if they have not yet been assigned a permission set directly. The default permission set is View Only, but you can create a permission set to assign as the default.
Workspace permission sets determine a user's level of access to the contents in each workspace.
Project permission sets determine a user's level of access to each project's data.
Portfolio permission sets determine a user's level of access to portfolio data.
Report permission sets determine a user's level of access to reports.
File permission sets determine a user's level of access to files.
Idea permission sets determine a user's level of access to ideas.
Custom Log permissions sets determine a user's level of access to custom logs.
Program permission sets determine a user's level of access to programs.
