User deciding whether to re-baseline their project.

User made changes to his budgeted & remaining hours as a result of some of the originally budgeted hours will be used on another project thus reducing their originally budgeted (baselined) costs. He has made the changes to the hours and we are continuing to update the project data (resource rates), but since the project has already been baselined, some of the budgeted costs (budget at completion and BL Total Cost) are not accurate.

Options and ramifications

1. Don’t baseline, leave as is after changes are made and add comments to explain the difference in figures in the notebook.
2. Re-baseline the project. This will update the Budget at Completion (BAC) & Baseline Total Cost to be reflective of the changes he has made to the resources hours.
